Immaterial 3 is out on Windows 10 for early adopters & more

Work started in November 2019 with the first code for Immaterial 1 on Android as an attempt to see if one can get personal insights into the self through an app.

The app has morphed with new insights from our team and users, changing direction and narrative as we saw and filled up the holes in our approach time and time again.

Immaterial 3 is out on Windows 10

Today, the first version of Immaterial 3 is available for all, starting on Windows 10 (64 and 86).

Breakthrough (picture below) is one of the 4 possible Immaterial 3 user flows, along with Overcome, Beyond and Create!

The flows were designed based on extensive user feedback and R&D, leaving no stone (and user need) unturned. We wanted to implement this in Immaterial 2 but it didn't make sense to rewrite it all again for 3, and that's how Immaterial 3 development started!

We're currently focusing on changes based on our first batch of testers, join our early adopters program to get a chance to try Immaterial 3 before its out and contribute feedback more closely. Getting Immaterial 3 Plus from our store guarantees you an invite in the next batches! (no ETA atm, we're planning a better system due to demand)

On Immaterial 2

To our Immaterial 2 users: thank you for your enthusiasm and generous feedback that helped shape Immaterial into what it is now, we couldn’t have done it without you! Immaterial 3 is the next step of the Immaterial journey, it’s where we'll be adding all our next features going forward and we hope to see you on version 3 soon!

Your backups are already compatible with Immaterial 3, meaning you can easily transfer all your data over (concepts, relations, concept types, relation types, constraints) to Immaterial 3 with one tap once it comes out on the platforms you use!

We're moving Immaterial 2 to maintenance mode and it will get only stability fixes going forward while we focus on Immaterial 3.

New functionality - Immaterial 3

Key Concepts, a recent features which refers to concepts which come with the app and are heavily connected to system or user data, now also contains Everything, as a previously-missing parallel to Nothing. We’re excited to see where we’ll be going (on the system and user side) with this one.

Feel free to share ideas on how you would use Everything at a system level and we might add them in!

Happy deconstructing and congrats to everyone 🥳
