Immaterial 2.3 “Everything” update is now live!

As mentioned in the blog post for Immaterial 1.2, we’re currently in the process of moving our headquarters out of Denmark, due to mainly their foreign policy, which aims to profile, reeducate and persecute people unequally based on their race and income through a law dubbed the ghetto law. If the danish monarchy or someone in control sees this, change your shit together, it’s 2020.

Me and other friends from Eastern Europe were never told by the state that “they like us here and they want to make our stay here pleasant” like they did to a friend from New Zealand. I did hear stuff like “Oh, I met another good Romanian”, as though the pattern is we aren’t. Multiple times, different people. You can’t make this shit up.

Living over 8 years in Denmark, I’ve started to see more and more the signs of a nation that wants assimilation not through accepting other cultures, but by trying to reprogram the people into danish values. It’s nice to have new workers, it’s not so nice to have them do things different than us. Very colonizer-like. Me and other immigrants were just pawns for their economy, being enticed as EU residents with free education, “good” work conditions and online state systems.

Immaterial 2.3

So with Immaterial 2.3 we’re doing 2 big things.

First, we’re removing ads from the app forever. It cheapens the whole experience and we can’t control what is being shown, de facto contributing to the ad and information gathering machine. We have the freedom to choose, and I think we chose right.

Second and more importantly, while we’re moving out of Denmark, all payments will bounce until we set up the new headquarters. So to just make things easier for everyone, for now we’re making all in-app features free!!!!!! All features available in the Connections and Meta Models bundles can now be used in the free version of the app, no strings attached. When we’re done with the switch to a new office we’ll make the premium bundles paid again, but that doesn’t mean you’re going to lose any data, just access to the premium features.
