ImmaterialAI 3.2.1 - new home filters & stability
In 3.2 we overhauled our entire front page with new UI and a new search-based UX. This update follows up on it, stabilizing the new home experiences and adding more punch to the search tool!
This version is Windows only, next update will be all about bringing the new 3.2.1 experience to browsers, coming out asap.
Additional filtering on the home page
If you recall, we previously introduced the ‘new/old me’ functionality, which lets you mark concepts as old or new you to easily represent concepts you detached from. You could previously filter data in the standalone library feature by new/old/both, now we’ve added that to the home page too!
With 3.2.1 there’s now a new ‘new/old me’ icon near the home search bar, tap it to cycle between 4 different states:
Default: filters results of home search, removing all ‘old me’ data
New me library: home shows only ‘new me’ concepts (i.e. not ‘old me)
Old me library: home shows only ‘old me’ concepts
Full library: show all user concepts
A very important change is that searching on the home page now returns only ‘new me’ data in its default state (effectively not showing any ‘old me’ data by default). You don’t need to do anything for your data to properly handle this change, ‘new me’ is a concept’s default state.
Bugfixes
We’ve also fixed a bunch of bugs that had to do with
home page UI
user progression
Enjoy the update, see you soon on web 😉
